introduction

the task of this course work was to create either a double page spread for a magzine, or two minutes of the opening scene of a new feature film. before doing this we required to complete two preliminary tasks designed to help us to deciide what we wanted to work in. following the completion of this, i chose to work in film. this is because i prefer the creative freedom accompined with it rather then the restriced format of a magazine. over the course of this work i will identify genres that interest me, brainstorm ideas for my own film and take in the opinions of the target audience.

once this is finished i will start the more recognisable task of finalizing my ideas and putting them into a storyboard. i will then search for the right locations and cast while also creating a script.

once this is done i will begin the challenge of filming. this will require all the previous knowledge i have aquired about camera techniques and directing prowess. once the raw footage is captured i will start the editing process, adding and removing clips and sounds.

once this is done i will have a finished product which i can review and, if nessecary, change. hopefully it will turn out as good as i hope.
